Public Meeting for Drainage Improvements on SR 50 from west of North Bay Lake Avenue to east of Fiske Avenue
Lake County- The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public meeting for the State Road (SR) 50 (W. Myers Boulevard) drainage improvements design project, from west of North Bay Lake Avenue to east of Fiske Avenue located in the City of Mascotte. This project will improve the performance capabilities of the existing retention pond that is located on the north side of SR 50 within the project limits.  These improvements will take place within existing right-of-way so no additional right-of-way is needed. Construction is funded for this project in Fiscal Year 2019.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the Mascotte Civic Center, located at 121 N. Sunset Avenue, Mascotte, Florida. The purpose of this meeting is to present information and to receive public input regarding the proposed improvements. The meeting will be an open-house format from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Project information will be available for review along with a project presentation that will run on a continuous loop. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and receive comments. The attached map identifies the project limits and the meeting location.
