FDOT invites public to meeting to talk about SR 46 improvements

Seminole County – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have a public information meeting to talk about plans to improve State Road (SR) 46 in Sanford.

The project consists of reconstructing the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided urban roadway with bike lanes, curbs and gutters, sidewalks and a raised median. The project extends from Mellonville Avenue to east of SR 415.

The project is funded for construction in 2016.

The meeting will be an informal open house from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Orlando Sanford International Airport, 1200 Red Cleveland Blvd., Sanford. Documents for the project will be available for review at the meeting.
