Public Information Meeting- Planned Capacity Improvements on SR 15 (Hoffner Avenue)
from Lee Vista Boulevard to Conway Road

Orange County- The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information meeting regarding planned capacity improvements along SR 15 (Hoffner Avenue) in Orlando.

The project will involve widening SR 15 from its current 2-lane configuration to a 4-lane divided urban roadway.  The project extends from Lee Vista Boulevard to Conway Road.  Improvements include eliminating the existing open ditches and providing an underground drainage system with curb and gutter, retention ponds for storm water treatment, two 11-foot travel lanes, one 4-foot designated bike lane and a 5-foot sidewalk in each direction separated by a 22-foot grassed median. This project is currently funded for construction in 2015.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2014, at the El Rey Jesus Orlando Church located at 5235 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, Florida. It will begin with an open house at 5:00 p.m. and includes a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will end at 7:00 p.m.
