Public Information Meeting for Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study
Titusville to Edgewater Bike Loop
Volusia County - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a Public Information Meeting for the Titusville to Edgewater Bike Loop PD&E study. The proposed bike route is intended to provide a loop connection between existing and proposed trail heads in Titusville and Edgewater. At this meeting we will present the recommended design alternative for the portion of the bike route that falls within Volusia County. In Volusia, the proposed route starts on US 1 at Kennedy Parkway and continues on US 1 to Park Avenue. It then heads west on Park Avenue to end at Dale Avenue. Users of the proposed bike route will be able to connect to the East Central Regional Rail Trail (ECRRT) at Dale Avenue.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd at the Edgewater Community Center located at 104 North Riverside Drive in Edgewater, FL. It will be an open house from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a short presentation at 5:30 p.m. Participants may review project information, watch a project presentation, and discuss the project with FDOT staff at any time during the meeting.
