May 20th Public Hearing
I-95/Viera Boulevard Interchange Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study

On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), you are invited to a public hearing for the Interstate 95 (I-95)/Viera Boulevard Interchange PD&E Study. We will present the recommended design alternative for a new interchange on I-95 at Viera Boulevard and improvements to Viera Boulevard between Power Line Drive and US 1.
The hearing is Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Brevard County Commission Chambers located at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Bldg C, Viera, FL. It will begin with an open house from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. followed by a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m. At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees who complete a speaker’s card will be given the opportunity to make an oral statement that will become part of the public hearing record. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing or by sending them to Jazlyn Heywood, 719 S. Woodland Boulevard - MS 501, DeLand, FL 32720. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before the 3rd of June will become part of the public hearing record.
The environmental and engineering documents developed by the Department are available for public review from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays through June 3rd at 719 S. Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, FL and at the Brevard Government Center located at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, lobby of Bldg C, Viera, FL. The documents are also available for downloading from the study website, www.i95viera.com, and will be available at the public hearing.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status. Persons who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act or who require translation services (free of charge) should contact Jazlyn Heywood at (386) 943-5388 at least seven days prior to the hearing.
