The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information meeting regarding plans to conduct an ITSS for the geographic area generally bounded by Tomoka Farms Road (State Road (SR) 415) on the west; Clyde Morris Boulevard (SR 483) on the east; International Speedway Boulevard (US 92) on the north; and Beville Road (SR 400) on the south.
This study evaluates intermodal transit station locations to support the development of an integrated multimodal transportation system which is economically efficient and safely moves people and goods in an energy-efficient manner.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in the Willie Miller Instructional Center (Auditorium) located at 600 South Clyde Morris Boulevard (SR 483) in Daytona Beach. This meeting is the first of two public meetings planned as part of a community‐based evaluation to communicate with the public and gain ideas from the local community on how to best meet the needs of the traveling public. The second meeting will be held at a future date.
All meetings are open to the public. Staff members are available at the meetings to discuss the study and answer questions. Participants may also provide public comment at any time during the meeting.
