Wekiva Parkway Public Information Meeting for Section 8 in Seminole County
Includes the Interchange at Interstate 4
Seminole County - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Five, is holding a public information meeting regarding the Wekiva Parkway Section 8 Design-Build Project in Seminole County. The public meeting is being held to review the latest preliminary design changes.
The project limits are from Orange Boulevard to east of Rinehart Road, including the new Wekiva Parkway interchange at I-4, which will connect with State Road 417, completing the beltway around Central Florida. The project consists of designing and building 2.63 miles of limited access toll road, and includes bridges, drainage, lighting and other roadway features.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 2013, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at The Rock Church of Central Florida located at 6641 W. State Road 46 in Sanford. The meeting is an informal open house where plans are available for review and project staff is available to address questions.
