Lake County- The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information open house regarding the East Lake County Transportation Network Assessment. The network evaluation area is generally defined by the Lake/Orange County line to the south, State Road (SR) 44 in Lake County to the north, N. Donnelly Street in Mount Dora to the west, and County Road (CR) 435 to the east.

The primary objective of this evaluation is to identify potential improvements needed to support the Wekiva Parkway and the associated growth within the study area. These improvements may include both short and long-term transportation needs through a process which involves public outreach and input from local and regional stakeholders.

The open house is scheduled for Monday, March 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Mt. Dora Community Center located at 520 North Baker Street in Mt. Dora. FDOT and Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) personnel and consultants will be available to discuss the study and answer questions.

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
