Lane Closures Suspended for Thanksgiving Holiday Travel

Current traffic patterns remain on major interstate projects

Central Florida The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will suspend lane closures in the Central Florida region from Nov. 27 Dec. 1. That said, construction zones will remain in place and motorists must still exercise caution when driving through areas under construction, as traffic patterns may include driving on temporary pavement and shifting lanes. Major interstate projects where construction zones will be encountered are: the I-4 Ultimate, I-4 Beyond the Ultimate, the I-95 widening project in Volusia County, I-75 near the Florida's Turnpike in Sumter County, and at I-75 and State Road (S.R.) 200 in Ocala.
