Upcoming Nighttime Closure of Southbound I-95 and Various Ramp Closures at the I-4 and ISB Interchanges

As part of the I-95 Widening and Systems Interchange Project

 

Volusia County Multiple nights next week, motorists in the Daytona Beach area should anticipate various closures within the Interstate 95 (I-95) Widening and Systems Interchange project limits. Work will require the closure of southbound I-95 from LPGA Boulevard to U.S. 92 (International Speedway Boulevard /ISB) Monday night along with various ramp closures at the I-4 and ISB interchanges on multiple nights. The closures and posted detours are as follows, in date order:  

When: Sunday, Dec. 16 and Monday, Dec. 17 nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

What: Closure of the Ramp from Eastbound I-4 to Southbound I-95

How it will work: Traffic will be directed to exit at Beville Road and take Williamson Boulevard south to S.R. 421 where southbound I-95 will be accessible.

 

When: Sunday, Dec. 16 and Monday, Dec. 17 nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

What: Closure of the Ramp from Westbound Beville Road to Southbound I-95

How it will work: Traffic will be directed to take Williamson Boulevard south to S.R. 421 where southbound I-95 will be accessible.

 

When: Monday, Dec. 17 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Tuesday, Dec. 18 is a backup date)

What: Closure of Southbound I-95 from LPGA Boulevard to ISB

How it will work: Southbound I-95 traffic will be directed to exit onto LPGA Boulevard and take Tomoka Farms Road south to ISB where southbound I-95 will be accessible.

 

When: Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Wednesday, Dec. 19 is a backup date)

What: Closure of the On Ramp from Eastbound ISB to Southbound I-95

How it will work: Eastbound ISB traffic will be directed to take Williamson Boulevard south to Beville Road where southbound I-95 will be accessible.

 

When: Wednesday, Dec. 19 and Thursday, Dec. 20 from 10 p.m. 6 a.m.

What: Closure of the On Ramp from Westbound ISB to Northbound I-95

How it will work: Westbound ISB traffic will take Williamson Boulevard north to LPGA Boulevard where northbound I-95 will be accessible.
