Nighttime Full Closure of I-95, Multiple Nighttime Ramp Closures at

I-4/I-95 Interchange

 

Volusia County Motorists in the Daytona Beach area need to be alerted to major roadwork that includes full closure of northbound and southbound Interstate 95 (I-95) as well as multiple nighttime ramp closures from eastbound I-4 to both northbound and southbound I-95. All are from 10 p.m. 6 a.m., and are part of the I-95 widening and systems interchange project. The closures and posted detours are as follows:          

When: Monday, Oct. 22 Wednesday, Oct. 24 (Thursday, Oct. 25 is a back-up date)

What: Ramp Closures from Eastbound I-4 to get on Northbound and Southbound I-95

How it will work:  Eastbound I-4 traffic is directed to exit onto Beville Road and take Williamson Boulevard north to ISB or south to S.R. 421 where northbound and southbound I-95 will be accessible.

 

When: Thursday, Oct. 25                                                                                                                          

What: Full Closure Northbound I-95 from Beville Road to ISB

How it will work: Northbound I-95 motorists are directed to exit at Beville Road and take Williamson Boulevard north to ISB to re-enter northbound I-95 or take Beville Road west to I-4.

 

When: Thursday, Oct. 25

What: Full Closure Southbound I-95 from ISB to S.R. 421

How it will work: Southbound I-95 motorists are directed to exit at ISB and travel west to I-4 or east to Williamson Boulevard south to S.R. 421 to re-enter southbound I-95.
