Orlando - Westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) between State Road (S.R.) 436 and Maitland Boulevard is closing at midnight on September 14, 17 and 18 and reopening at 5 a.m. to safely demolish the old Wymore Bridge overpass.

Motorists seeking to continue westbound on I-4 will be diverted onto westbound S.R. 436, south onto S.R. 434 and then eastbound on Maitland Boulevard to re-enter westbound I-4 at the I-4 and Maitland Boulevard interchange.

The westbound I-4 entrance at S.R. 436 and the westbound I-4 exit ramps at Maitland Boulevard also will close at 10 p.m. the nights preceding the interstate closures and reopen at 5 a.m. to accommodate the operation.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
