Lane Closures Scheduled on Sand Lake Road near Shingle Creek Bridge

Orange County Motorists that drive on State Road (S.R.) 482/Sand Lake Road are advised that on Sunday, March 18, there will be lane closures in front of the South Water Reclamation Facility. The closures will start at 7 a.m. Sunday and last until 7 a.m. Monday, March 19.

During the lane closures, the contractor will be installing a 42-inch force main pipeline across the roadway that leads from the reclamation facility.

The work is part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project to widen and reconstruct S.R. 482 (Sand Lake Road) from west of Universal Boulevard to west of S.R. 423 (John Young Parkway).  

Please note that this schedule may change due to weather or other unexpected conditions. Construction updates are available on FDOT's Central Florida website, www.cflroads.com.
