Public Hearing on State Road 600/U.S. 17/92 (South Orange Blossom Trail) Proposed Improvements
Osceola County - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public hearing regarding the State Road (S.R.) 600/U.S. 17/92 (South Orange Blossom Trail) Access Management Improvement project in Kissimmee, which involves converting the full median opening at Westgate Drive to a directional opening, widening the eastbound left turn lane and constructing a new westbound left turn lane.
The hearing will be held on Thursday, February 15, at the Hart Memorial Central & Ray Shanks Law Library, 211 East Dakin Avenue, Kissimmee, FL 34741. It will begin as an open house at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation at 7 p.m. followed by public comments.
The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public input and to gain ideas from the local community about the proposed improvement. FDOT staff will be available to discuss the plans and answer questions. Participants may also provide written public comments at any time during the hearing, or by mail or email to Ada Vargas (contact information below) no later than February 22, 2018.
