Traffic Shift on Hoffner Avenue

Orange County Drivers in the area of State Road (S.R.) 15/Hoffner Avenue between Redditt Road/Patch Road and South Goldenrod Road should be prepared for a new traffic configuration starting the end of this week.

Eastbound traffic will be moved to the newly paved eastbound lane to allow for the contractor to work in the median.

Directional medians will be located at Volusia Drive and Pasco Street, and left turns will be prohibited at Ponderosa Drive.

Some driveway entrances and exits within this area will become right turn only. Please do not attempt to cross the median (construction zone) in undesignated areas. Proceed to the nearest median opening and make a U-turn as needed.

Electronic message boards have been installed to inform motorists about the traffic shift. Please note construction schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

The work is part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project to widen and reconstruct S.R 15 (Hoffner Avenue) from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway from Conway Road to north of Lee Vista Boulevard.
