Lane Closure Starting on NB S.R. 415 Bridge over St. Johns River

Volusia County Motorists can expect northbound S.R. 415 over the St. Johns River at the Volusia/Seminole County border to be reduced to one lane beginning Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017. The continuous lane closure is needed to accommodate placement of an epoxy overlay that will serve to prolong the life of the bridge, as well as increase surface friction.

Bicyclists also are advised that a detour will be posted at S.R. 46 directing them to cross to the west side (southbound) side of the roadway to avoid the work area.

At least one northbound lane will remain open at all times. Contractor Bridge Masters Construction is expected to complete the $498,000 project in about 60 days.

Project updates are available on www.cflroads.com. Please note schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
