The Florida Department of Transportation will suspend most construction work Dec. 26-Jan. 3.

 

Some construction and maintenance activities will be ongoing.

 

Lane closures could happen in the following areas during this time (links to project websites are included):

 

·         Marion – SR 25 (US 441) from North of NW 35th Street to North of CR 25A, construction 12/27-12/29

·         Orange/Seminole – I-4  I-4 Ultimate from Kirkman Rd. to East of West SR434, see website for construction alerts

·         Orange – Sand Lake Road Universal Blvd. to west of John Young Parkway, clearing/grubbing, installing temporary fence 12/26 - 12/29

·         Orange – Sand Lake Road  John Young Parkway to east of FL's Turnpike, clearing/grubbing, installing temporary fence 12/26 - 12/29

·         Orange – SR 50 from US 441 to Shine Ave, signal work 12/27 - 12/29

·         Orange – SR 50 Econ Bridge, daytime work under bridge

·         Orange – SR 50 from Dean Road to Avalon Park Blvd., lane closures for final striping

·         Seminole –  SR 46 from Mellonville to Lake Mary Blvd/SR 419, workers present build surcharge and install storm pipe

·         Sumter – I-75/Turnpike Wildwood Interchange, some survey activities

·         Sumter – I-75 from Hernando Co. Line to CR 470

·         Sumter – I-75/Turnpike Wildwood Interchange, some survey activities

·         Volusia – I-95 widening  contractors will work daytime hours 12/27 - 12/30 outside of travel lanes.

·         Volusia – S.R. 44 Roundabout ,workers will be on site

·         Volusia – U.S. 1 from South Street to Magnolia Avenue/Shangri-La Circle sidewalk construction on east side of road
