ROAD CLOSURE ON RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD
Longwood – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is announcing a road closure for the Ronald Reagan Boulevard rail crossing, in both directions. The closure begins at 9 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 and ends at 3 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016. The closures are needed to install new concrete panels and new asphalt approaches at the railroad crossings to provide a smoother ride for motorists.
Detour signs will be placed at key locations along Ronald Reagan Boulevard to direct drivers around the work zone.
- Traffic traveling south on Ronald Reagan Boulevard will be directed to take a left turn onto General Hutchinson Parkway, a right turn onto Highway 17-92, a right turn onto State Road (SR) 434, to Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
- Traffic traveling on SR 434 will be directed to turn onto Highway 17-92, take a left turn onto General Hutchinson Parkway, to Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time during this temporary closure. Please note that this schedule may change due to bad weather or other unexpected conditions.
