I-95 detour in Volusia county; FDOT to pour bridge deck

Volusia County --  The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) advises motorists of an upcoming detour at the  Interstate 4 (I-4)/I-95 interchange, tonight, Tuesday, September 6, 2016, so that workers can pour a bridge deck. The bridge deck will span all I-95 southbound lanes

I-95 southbound will be closed overnight from US 92/International Speedway Boulevard to the I-4/I-95 interchange on Tuesday, September 6, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Wednesday, September 7 if needed).

There will be signage advising drivers where to exit for the detour. This detour will not impact drivers traveling I-4 eastbound to I-95 northbound or southbound.

To accommodate these construction activities, there will be a well-marked detour. Travelers are advised to slow down, and follow the detour signs through construction zones. Posted detours are as follows:

• Drivers southbound on I-95 exit at US 92/International Speedway Boulevard (exit 261A); and take Williamson Boulevard south to Beville Road(SR 400) west, where access to I-95 southbound and I-4 westbound will be open.

•Motorists who want to go I-4 westbound can take US 92/International Speedway Boulevard west, where access to I-4 westbound will be open.
