Additional Closure Needed on I-95 Northbound Exit Ramp
Volusia County – Contractors will need to close the Interstate 95 (I-95) northbound exit ramp to US 1 in Ormond Beach (Exit 273) for a second night tonight to complete the application of a high friction surface treatment. The ramp is expected to close about 9:30 p.m. July 14 and reopen by 6 a.m. tomorrow, July 15. The ramp also was closed overnight July 12 to July 13.
Motorists seeking access to US 1 will be directed to exit at State Road (SR) 40 (Granada Boulevard), head east to SR 5A (Nova Road) to northbound US 1.
All other ramps at the I-95 and US 1 interchange (Exit 273) will be open. However, additional ramp closures may be needed in coming days to complete striping and repair work on the other three ramps.
