SR 50 from Chuluota Road to Columbia School Road
Orange County – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public meeting about State Road 50 improvements, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at the Bithlo Community Center, 18501 Washington Avenue in Orlando.
The project will widen the roadway from a four-lane to a six-lane roadway and provide accommodations for both bicycles and pedestrians.
Project limits are from Chuluota Road (County Road (CR) 419)/ Columbia School Road to SR 520.
The project is not currently funded for construction.
The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the project, and to present the preliminary design concepts to the public. The meeting is an open house beginning at 5:30 p.m. Staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. A brief looping presentation and other project information will be available throughout the evening.
