Central Florida – SunRail crews will close several railroad crossings during the weekend of November 9 through November 12, to rebuild railroad crossings and upgrade signal equipment. The crossings that will be closed include:

 

CR 427/Ronald Reagan Boulevard
• Between Plumosa Avenue and Lyman Road in Longwood
• Friday, Nov. 9 at 9 p.m. until
• Saturday, Nov. 10 at 9 p.m.

 

SR 436/ East Altamonte Drive
• East of CR 427/Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Altamonte Springs
• Saturday, Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. until
• Monday, Nov. 12 at 3 a.m.

 

Rollins Street
• East of Orange Avenue in Orlando, at Florida Hospital
• Friday, Nov. 9 at 9 p.m. until
• Monday, Nov. 12, at 3 a.m.

 

Merritt Street
• East of CR 427/Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Longwood
• Westbound lane only
• Saturday, Nov. 10 from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.

 

Construction will also occur on a turn lane into the new Altamonte Springs SunRail station on CR 427/Ronald Reagan Boulevard, just north of SR 436. Crews will close the northbound right lane only from Saturday, Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Nov. 12 at 3 a.m.

 

The Florida Department of Transportation urges you to obey railroad crossing signals and never cross at a closed crossing gate.
