Project Continues on Westbound Interstate 4 on Orlando’s South Side

 

Orange County – Lane  and Ramp closures on I-4—from east of Conroy Road to east of Sand Lake Road—as the Florida Department of Transportation continues resurfacing the westbound side of the interstate. The planned lane closures are as follows:



September 23 (Sunday night) – September 28 (Friday morning) work will occur from:

 

• 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for I-4 lanes and ramps
• 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (1st lane) and 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. (2nd lane) for loop installation
Traffic could be reduced to one lane during a portion of that time period

Sept. 23th, 2012 -Sunday Night

9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
For the Turnpike:  Kirkman on-ramp merging into I-4 Mainline.
Milling and Resurfacing of Kirkman on-ramp merging into I-4 mainline.


            
Sept. 24th, 2012 - Monday Night

9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Outside mainline lane closure
Milling and Resurfacing of Universal on ramp gore along with outside shoulders.


            
Sept. 25th, 2012 -Tuesday Night

9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Inside mainline lane closure
Milling and Resurfacing of inside shoulders

 

Sept. 26th, 2012 - Wednesday Night

One lane starting at 9:00 PM, with the second lane closure at 11:00 PM
Closure of two outside lanes
Installation of loop assemblies

 

Sept. 27th, 2012 - Thursday Night

One lane starting at 9:00 PM, with the second lane closure at 11:00 PM
Closure of two outside lanes
Installation of loop assemblies

 

All lanes will be open by 5:00 AM.
