Motorists need to be on the lookout for multiple lane closures beginning Wednesday, August 8th along I-4, south of Orlando. These lane closures are scheduled for the beginning of the beam erection (shoring towers) phase of the project.
The planned lane closures for the beam erection (shoring towers) phase on I-4 are as follows:
Progressive lane closures:
• Contractors to conduct progressive lane closures on the eastbound lanes of I-4 and divert traffic to a new temporary inside lane
• August 8th (Wednesday night) to August 11th (Saturday morning)
• To be closed as follows:
o 9:00 p.m. – Single Lane
o 10:00 p.m. – Double Lane
o 12:30 a.m. – 5:00 AM – Triple Lane
Be advised that weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances could affect construction schedules.
