Motorists need to be on the lookout as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is closing a lane on westbound Interstate-4 (I-4) west of CR 46A in order to evaluate the road to ensure proper drainage of water on the roadway. The closure starts tonight, Monday, June 25, at 8 p.m. The lane will reopen at 6 a.m.
The Florida Department of Transportation urges motorists to drive carefully in construction zones, and encourages all vehicle occupants to buckle up. Safety belts save lives.
Be advised that weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances could affect construction schedules.
