The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information meeting concerning a project to improve sidewalks at various locations in Orange County. This project’s purpose is to implement improvements, within the existing right of way, which will provide a continuous network of pedestrian sidewalks along the following roadway segments in the City of Orlando:

 

SR 500 (Orange Blossom Trail) from Country Club Drive to Clarcona Ocoee Road

 

SR 423 (John Young Parkway) from West Colonial Drive to Shader Road

 

SR 438 (Princeton St.) from Silver Star Road to Rio Grande Avenue

 

The meeting is Tuesday, June 26 2012, at the American Legion Department of Florida Hall located at 1912A Lee Road in Orlando. The public meeting consists of an open house beginning at 5 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m. There is a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m.  The meeting will provide people the opportunity to express their views regarding this project.
