US 441-State Road (SR) 500 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study

Mount Dora - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public kick-off workshop regarding the PD&E study which will evaluate potential improvements for US 441 (SR 500) from north of SR 46 (milepost 22.44) to SR 44 (milepost 20.06) in Lake County, Florida.
The project evaluates the feasibility of improvements on US 441 (SR 500) to include widening the existing four-lane roadway to six lanes. The project is not currently funded for construction.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 3, at the Mount Dora Community Building located at 520 North Baker Street in Mount Dora. It begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m. There will be no formal presentation; however, project information will be available for review and FDOT consultants and staff will be available to answer any questions or provide project information.
