Melbourne – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is providing project support to Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) so they can conduct reconstruction work at the US-192/ Strawbridge Avenue railroad crossing. The reconstruction will replace the current crossing surface.

Motorists will encounter detours lasting three nights beginning at 7:00 a.m., Sunday, September 18.  Traffic flow is anticipated to return to normal at 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 21.

The US-192/Strawbridge Ave. detours are:

Eastbound Strawbridge Ave.:   North on Hickory St.
     East on Hibiscus Blvd.
     South on US-1/Harbor City Blvd.
     East on US-192/Strawbridge Ave.
Westbound Strawbridge Ave.:  North on US-1/Harbor City Blvd.
     West on Hibiscus Blvd.
     South on Hickory St.
     West on US-192/Strawbridge Ave.
