Public Kick-off Meeting for Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study
Maitland Boulevard (SR 414)

Orange County - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a public kick-off meeting for the Maitland Boulevard (State Road 414) PD&E Study. The study limits are from east of I-4 (Hope Road) to Maitland Avenue (CR 427), a distance of approximately 1.2 miles.  The study will evaluate the feasibility of widening Maitland Boulevard from a four lane roadway to a six lane divided urban roadway and will include evaluation of improvements such as bicycle lanes and sidewalks.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Maitland Civic Center located at 641 South Maitland Avenue in Maitland. The meeting will provide participants with an introduction to the project and the status of the study to date.  It will also give participants the opportunity to ask questions and provide input. The meeting will begin with an informal open house at 5:30 p.m. followed by a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
