Upcoming public meeting for improvements along S. Washington Avenue/ US 1 in Titusville

Brevard County - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information meeting regarding plans to provide operational improvements along South Washington Avenue (US 1/State Road (SR) 5) in Titusville.

This project provides maintenance and safety improvements to South Washington Avenue. The project limits extend from north of Golden Knights Boulevard to South of Cheney Highway (SR 50). In addition to repairing the existing pavement, this project includes adding sidewalks and pedestrian signal upgrades. This project is funded for construction in the fall of 2016.

The meeting will be an open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, at the New Life Christian Fellowship, 6755 South Washington Avenue, Titusville.
