The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information meeting regarding planned capacity improvements along SR 483 (Clyde Morris Boulevard) in the City of Daytona Beach.


The project includes widening the roadway from four to six lanes. It also involves construction of a raised median, curb and gutter improvements, addition of bike lanes and a shared use path, and sidewalk improvements. The project extends from south of SR 400 (Beville Road) to Mayberry Avenue. The project is not funded for right-of-way or construction in the FDOT’s Five Year Work Program.


The meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 12th at Daytona State College located at 1200 W. International Speedway Boulevard, Building 110, in Daytona Beach. It begins with an open house at 5:30 p.m. and includes a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m. The meeting ends at 7:30 p.m.
