SR 48 from East of I-75 Ramps to CR 475 (Main St)

This project is to reconstruct SR 48 (Belt Ave.) from a two to three lane road to a five lane road from CR 609 to CR 475 (US 301). The improvements to the corridor consist of the drainage improvements that would include new piping, inlets, and outfalls on both sides of the corridor to four new ponds. The intersections of CR 609, West St., and CR 475 (US 301) will be improved with new signal poles, crosswalks, pedestrian heads, and A.D.A. ramps and detection pads. And as part of the roadway improvements, there would be bicycle lanes and sidewalks added to both sides of the corridor.
