The improvements to SR 46 involve the addition of travel lanes to provide a four-lane roadway. The proposed four-lane curb and gutter roadway will include two 12-foot travel lanes and one 4-foot bicycle lane in each direction, separated by a 22-foot grassed median. Also included in the project is a 5-foot sidewalk along the south side and an 8-foot sidewalk along the northside of SR 46.
