Orange, Seminole and Volusia Counties – Motorists could encounter periodic, overnight lane closures on the I-4 corridor in the metro-Orlando area as work continues through the next few weeks to replace Dynamic Message Signs (Traffic and Travel Advisory Signs) as well as the structures on which the signs are mounted.
The work is occurring on Interstate 4, from the Beachline (SR 528) in Orange County, to State Road 472 in the Deltona-DeLand area of Volusia County. Motorists should be on the lookout for single and--possible--double lane closures.
The Florida Department of Transportation urges motorist to drive carefully and buckle up. Safety belts save lives.
