State Road (SR) 19 / Howey Bridge Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding an alternatives public meeting to discuss the PD&E Study regarding plans to widen SR 19 in Lake County, Florida.
The project proposes to widen SR 19 to four lanes from County Road (CR) 48 to CR 561, including the Howey Bridge over Little Lake Harris. The project is partially funded for construction.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday May, 24th at Adventure Christian Church (formerly Mid-Lakes CC) located at 3800 SR 19 in Tavares. The meeting begins with an open house at 5:00 p.m. and includes brief presentations at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The meeting concludes at 7:00 p.m.
