About

The purpose of this project is to resurface Interstate 75 ( I-75) from the Sumter County line to State Road (S.R.) 200. In addition, the existing median crossovers will be reconstructed, the guardrail will be updated and added where necessary, and minor drainage work will take place.

Lane Closures
  • Median Crossover Closures - Sunday, May 5, through Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly: Expect shoulder closures at one or more of the following median crossover locations. The crossovers will be unavailable 24 hours per day until improvements are complete.

     

  • I-75/S.R. 200 Ramp Closures

    • Sunday, May 19, through Monday, May 20, from 8 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., nightly: The northbound I-75 off-ramp to S.R. 200 will be closed for resurfacing.
      • Detour information: 
        • Motorists traveling northbound on I-75 wishing to get off at S.R. 200 should continue northbound and exit at S.R. 40 (West Silver Springs Boulevard) (Exit 352), turn left on S.R. 40, turn left to get back onto I-75 via the southbound on ramp, and take I-75 southbound to exit at S.R. 200 (Exit 350).
    • Monday, May 20, through Wednesday, May 22, from 8 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., nightly: The southbound I-75 on-ramp from S.R. 200 will be closed for resurfacing.
      • Detour information: 
        • Motorists traveling southwest on S.R. 200 wishing to get onto southbound I-75 should continue southwest, turn left on Southwest 60th Avenue, turn left on Southwest 95th Street, turn right on Southwest 49th Avenue, turn left on Marion Oaks Trail, turn left on County Road (C.R.) 484, and continue east before reaching the on ramp for southbound I-75.
        • Motorists traveling northeast on S.R. 200 wishing to get onto southbound I-75 should turn right on Southwest 43rd Street Road before the interchange, continue east onto Southwest 42nd Street, continue east onto Southwest 32nd Street, turn right on C.R. 475, turn right on C.R. 484, and continue west before reaching the on ramp for southbound I-75.
  • Lane Closures - Sunday, May 5, through Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly: Motorists should expect overnight northbound and southbound lane closures on Interstate 75 (I-75) from the Sumter County line to S.R. 200 for milling, paving, and median grade improvements. Inside northbound and southbound shoulder closures will be in effect between C.R. 484 and S.R. 200 for attenuator replacements.

    For safety, please reduce your speed, alertly merge into an open lane and cautiously bypass the construction zone.

    Shoulder Closures - Sunday, May 5, through Friday, May 17, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly: Inside northbound and southbound shoulder closures will be in effect near the 66th Street crossing for guardrail installation and elsewhere along I-75 from C.R. 484 to S.R. 200 for attenuator replacements.
